Located 800 meters from Como Cathedral, Villa Bertacchi dominates the city from above thanks to its location on the border between the town and the forest. The villa is surrounded by greenery and makes it possible to be outside the city while still being in the city. From the house there is direct access to the path that leads to the monastery of San Donato and then to Brunate. The villa can only be reached on foot via a 140-meter path and 130 steps. Help will be provided upon your arrival to carry your luggage up
The space
Villa Bertacchi Nord is the north-facing (toward the lake) half of a detached villa with a large private garden. It has a total of 12 beds.

The villa is on 2 floors (160 square meters).
On the ground floor is the ROSA DEI VENTI apartment consisting of a large kitchen (35 sqm), a dining room with a magnificent stone fireplace, a very bright double bedroom overlooking the pool, and a bathroom with shower. The living room and kitchen have direct access to the panoramic terrace overlooking the cathedral and the lake.
The double bedroom and two comfortable sofa beds allow to accommodate up to 6 people. The kitchen has all the equipment (gas stove, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher) and accessories to prepare excellent meals.
The large wooden table allows 12 people to eat at the same time .

On the upper floor is the SOLE apartment (70 sq m- sleeps 6) consisting of two double bedrooms (one of which is a master bedroom with a panoramic view of the cathedral and the lake), a dining room (with a beautiful white marble fireplace, table, chairs and a sofa bed), the kitchen with induction plate, microwave oven and refrigerator. A comfortable bathroom with bathtub/shower completes the apartment.
Both bedrooms are equipped with a desk for smart working.

On the -1 floor in the laundry room you will find the washing machine and everything you need for laundry.
The large outdoor spaces allow the two parts of the villa to ensure the dedicated and exclusive spaces, set up with tables, armchairs, sofas and deckchairs.
The pool is accessible to guests of villa Bertacchi north and villa Bertacchi south .

The charm of Villa Bertacchi comes from being immersed in the woods while being only 800 meters from the Duomo and the city center. However, to access the house you have to walk a 140-meter path and 130 steps. Upon your arrival we will give you help to carry your luggage up.
Other things to keep in mind
The pedestrian path to the house can be strenuous for families with young children and people with mobility difficulties. We assure you, however, that the effort is worth it! Plus in the house you will find everything you need for the comfort of the little ones (changing table, crib, high chair)
